Are you planning a bachelorette or bachelor party? Skip the pentathlon.

Finding activities that suit an entire group of friends is not always the easiest. During the five days of the Culture Festival, there are plenty of opportunities to try something new, discover the city together, or just let the planning take shape along the way. Here are some program points to be inspired by when it's time to gather the gang.

Not everyone needs to do the same thing all the time

While some are trying bachata at Gustav Adolfs torg, others might be attending a film screening in Slussen or watching a concert at Skeppsbron's boat stage. The festival is big enough for everyone to choose their own path for a while.

Gather the group on the dance floor

In Kungsträdgården between August 12 and 14, the dance club Nackswinget invites you to try out bugg before the dance band concerts. On Strömgatan, dance workshops await in everything from dancehall and kizomba to K-pop and afrofusion.

On August 14, dancer and TikTok profile Björn Lindberg leads an energetic step session where training meets rhythms and music from, among others, the Middle East, the Balkans, and South America.

Does anyone dare to sing?

On August 13, RnB Karaoke awaits on Strömgatan for those who love to sing along to every lyric when Ne-Yo's Because of You or other RnB classics are played.

Between August 14 and 16, the band The Yoghurts will be on the stage at Sergels torg ready to accompany anyone who wants to try their luck at live karaoke in front of a larger audience.

The only question is who will take the microphone first.

Discover something unexpected

On August 12, Southnord Block Party makes a stop at Brunkebergstorg and HOBO Hotel with music, art, and Nigerian food. At the center is a converted bus that transforms into a mobile sound system and meeting place during the evening.

On August 15, Skogsrejv at Skeppsbron invites you to an evening of electronic music, from techno to drum and bass, with DJs from the Swedish underground scene.

In Malin Matsdotter's herb garden tent on Strömgatan, stories about Stockholm's witch trials, folklore, and medicinal plants await throughout the festival.

This might not be the first thing you think of when planning a bachelorette or bachelor party. Which is precisely why it could become one of the week's best memories.

End in front of the stage

Sooner or later, the whole gang ends up in front of a stage.

At Gustav Adolfs torg, the festival's largest music stage awaits with artists like Agnes, Hurula, Otto Knows, Tensta Gospel Choir, and Greekazo. At Skeppsbron, the concerts continue with views over the water and music from all over the world.

An obvious meeting place during the festival week.

Not ready to go home?

For those not ready to go home, Silent Disco and new club concepts await on Strömgatan every evening.
