Film Screening – Falcon Lake

During a summer stay at a remote lake, a close relationship develops between two young people. At the same time, strange events and local ghost stories begin to cast shadows over their existence.

Falcon Lake is director Charlotte Le Bon’s feature film debut and was shown in the Directors’ Fortnight at the Cannes Film Festival in 2022. The film was also awarded the Gold Hugo for Best New Director at the Chicago International Film Festival.

The film is shown at the Water Square stage. Take a seat on the bleachers at Water Square and experience the film under the open sky.

The film screening is presented in collaboration with the French Institute.
