Folkoperan celebrates 50 years

During the evening, Folkoperan’s soloists and orchestra will offer samples from the anniversary repertoire and highlights from five decades of opera, musicals, and musical theater. The audience will hear music from I am Ulla Winblad, Nietzsche versus Wagner, and Smiles of a Summer Night.

Since its inception, Folkoperan has worked to make opera accessible to more people and to present performing arts in Swedish. Now, 50 years of innovative opera is celebrated with a concert for everyone.
