Parade of Festive Imagery

Experience a parade of giants, a traditional and festive feature at street festivals in Catalonia that dates back to the Middle Ages.

Parade route: Slottsbacken – Skeppsbron – Slottskajen – Norrbro – Gustav Adolfs torg – Jakobsgatan – Kungsträdgården – Kungsträdgårdsgatan – Strömgatan – Norrbro -Slottskajen – Skeppsbron – Slottsbacken.

This program is part of this year’s special feature highlighting Catalan folk culture. The traveling festival APLEC, organized by the cultural association Adifolk, visits Stockholm and the Culture Festival with 1,200 Catalan cultural practitioners and performing artists.
