Did you know that the Royal Armoury was located in the Makalös Palace in Kungsträdgården for over a hundred years?
Now Sweden’s oldest museum returns to one of the country’s oldest public parks for a historical retrospective. What did Kungsträdgården look like in the past? What was it used for? And what really happened to the Makalös Palace and the Tre Kronor Palace?
On August 15th at Kungsträdgården’s small stage, Carl Ivinger, museum educator at the Royal Armoury, will talk about the history of the place and the people who have moved through the park over the centuries.
