For 18 years, Tarabband has been building bridges between musical traditions from the Middle East, North Africa, and Europe.
The band originates from Malmö but over the years has reached a large audience both in Sweden and internationally.
With the singer, composer, and lyricist Nadin Al Khalidi at the forefront, Tarabband creates music where stories and life destinies are at the center. The lyrics in Arabic and the band’s original music move between several genres, where influences from, among others, folk music, jazz, and North African traditions meet.
On August 15, Tarabband will be on the Skeppsbro stage.
