Southnord Block Party
Welcome to a block party where a traveling artwork makes a stop in Stockholm.
As part of Southnord Artfest 2026, a Nigerian bus equipped with a sound system travels through the Nordics, from Berlin via Copenhagen and Stockholm onwards to Helsinki.
Along the way, stories about life in the Nordics from the African diaspora are gathered, through memories, music, and food. In the evening, artist Emeka Ogboh takes over the kitchen and bar at HOBO Hotel with Nigerian flavors, while various DJs play music.
On August 12, Brunkebergstorg and HOBO Hotel will be filled with music, food, and stories when Southnord Block Party stops in Stockholm.
The program is organized by Southnord Artfest and HOBO Hotel, friends of the festival. The organizers are responsible for the content and execution of the program. Any questions about the program should be directed to the organizers.
